Emily Farah – Physio

Emily is a highly skilled and dedicated practitioner who graduated with a BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy from Oxford Brookes University in 2017 and began her career working for Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) as well as the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP).

She has experience in both community and outpatient settings treating musculoskeletal (MSK), paediatric and neurological conditions. Emily went on to develop a keen special interest in both spinal and paediatric MSK injuries.

On moving to Devon in 2021, Emily is currently working for the NHS in Exeter where she continues to be a highly regarded member of the team.

Emily has an interest in adolescent return-to-sport rehabilitation and plays a crucial role in the local NHS MSK networks leading a paediatric special interest group.

Emily has experience in conducting both post-operative rehabilitation as well as spinal rehabilitation group classes. She works closely alongside the local advanced spinal practitioners and has developed sound diagnostic and treatment skills within this speciality.

Emily’s passion started with her background of playing national level squash for her home country for 10 years. She has had a passion since then of being an advocate for promoting physical well-being.
