Jane Newman BSc, MSc, MCSP, SRP, MMACP
Physiotherapist and Clinical Director, Peak Physio
Jane gained her Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy from the University of the West of England in 1999 and went on to gain her Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy and membership to the Manipulation Association of Chartertered Physiotherapists (MMACP) from University College London in 2005. Jane is a fully qualified acupunturiest and is a member of the Acupunture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP). Jane has been nominated onto the executive board of the MACP this year.
Jane has worked in the NHS, in private practice and within elite level sport both in the UK and abroad. This summer Jane will be a Physiotherapist for the Olympic Games, London 2012, and will based at the Olympic stadium.
A Physiotherapist to the English Institute of Sport (EIS) since 2005, Jane and has been the Lead Physiotherapist at many international events for the England Athletic Team. Having worked with many different athletes from recreational to elite level Jane was wide experience in preparing for athletic performance, conditioning for injury prevention and providing sports specific rehabilitation.
Since 2003 Jane has also been closely involved with the Runners world magazine speaking at conferences on Injury prevention, training and Marathon preparation as well as answering problem questions for the magazine.
Jane is actively involved in a range of sports from triathlon to skiing. Among her many achievements are winning the Himalayan Ultra marathon and pacing the London Marathon. She is also the organiser of the Annual Jurassic Coast 10krun in aid of FORCE Cancer Charity.
David Weeks, BSc, MSc, MCSP, SRP
Physiotherapist
David is a Chartered Physiotherapist qualifying from the University of the West of England, Bristol in 1999 with an honours degree in Physiotherapy. He has a graduate diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine and is completing a Masters Degree in this subject at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC). David also holds a qualification in Injection Therapy achieved in 2010 from Southampton University.
Following graduation David worked within the NHS before progressing into professional sport. David has worked for Birmingham City FC, Ipswich Town FC and The Football Association (FA). Following this, he worked for the MOD as Clinical Lead for the South West Region. He has also worked with Plymouth Albion RFC as Lead of Rehabilitation.
David divides his time working at Peak Physio and as an Extended Scope Practitioner for Somerset Community Health working closely with orthopaedic surgeons across the county. He also works part time for the FA and lectures on the MSc Sports and Exercise Medicine course at UWIC.
David has a wealth of experience working with a large degree of injuries having specific interest in musculoskeletal medicine, international athletes, and a high level of rehabilitation and prevention strategies with the primary aim of getting patients back to full fitness.
David is still a very keen footballer but is gradually progressing into coaching roles. He is also a very keen watersports, skiing and climbing enthusiast.
Claire Harding
Massage therapist and Reflexologist
Claire is a very energetic, fully qualified massage therapist who is able to offer a range of massages including deep soft tissue, remedial, and relaxing treatments for all parts of the body.
Claire is also experienced in Reflexology, Hopi Ear Candling, Non-surgical face lift, Manicure and Pedicure techniques.
She has worked with a broad spectrum of people including sports people, the elderly, pregnant women, children and people with special needs.
Claire’s treatments are holistic which means she will take into account your mind, body, spirit and lifestyle history.

Michelle is a highly qualified & experienced beauty therapist. Michelle offers a varity of treatments such as Facials, Specialised waxing, Manicures & Pedicures, Eye Lash & brow tinting, Eyebrow shaping, and Swedish deep tissue massage.
Michelle uses Neal’s Yard organic skin care range for the facials, The UK’S first certified organic health & beauty company. Neal’s Yard Remedies try to encourage a more natural, holistic way of health, beauty & wellbeing.
As well as holistic facials Michelle offers Reflexology, Aromatherapy body massage and Indian Head massage.

Stuart Dowdon,BOC, GOC
Registered Osteopath
Stuart is a registered Osteopath qualifying from the British School of Osteopathy in 2009 with a Bachelor of Osteopathy. He has undertaken postgraduate courses in Applied Kinesiology and Cranial Osteopathy and he is a member of International Chapter of Applied Kinesiology (ICAK) in the UK.
Since graduation Stuart has worked in private practice in Southern Ireland treating all types of patients from office workers to olympic athletes and GAA footballers. Stuart now divides his time working in the NHS and at Peak.
Stuart is interested in all musculoskeletal injuries but has a particular interest in treating people with long term problems associated with poor posture, work and exercise.
In his spare time he enjoys cycling; surfing and kayaking.

She has a specific knowledge of sports nutrition as she is currently studying an MSc Weight Management and has completed the Sports Nutrition Module. Over the last 10 years she has coached a variety of athletes including marathon runners, cyclists and triathletes, kite surfers and professional rugby players.

Kate is a qualified Careers consultant with over 16 years experience working as a careers professional, after gaining her professional qualification – the Diploma in Careers Guidance from the University of Central England in 1994. She is a member of the Institute of Careers Guidance and registered with the British Psychological Society for
Occupational Testing (Ability and Aptitude).
Kate has worked with clients of all ages (from young people choosing GCSE subjects to high level executives) helping them to move forward and manage their careers. Recent projects, in addition to working with private clients, have included working with organisations to identify their business and recruitment needs, and designing and delivering 2 day career focused “boot camps”!
Her passion is working with individuals to help them identify their goals, reach their full potential and achieve the career and lifestyle they choose.
