Congratulations to Trevor: Hypnotherapist of the Year

TrevorCongratulations to Trevor Hoskisson who has been awarded ‘Hypnotherapist of the Year’ by the Association of Professional Coaches, Trainers and Consultants (APCTC).

Trevor, who practices at Peak Physio, was been chosen from a large number of hypnotherapists across the UK to become Hypnotherapist of the Year. The award is part of a series given annually by the Association of Professional Coaches, Trainers and Consultants; it recognises expertise and outstanding achievement in hypnosis.

Peak welcomes Kate Foster, Careers Consultant

Climbing wallKate is a qualified Careers consultant with over 16 years experience working as a careers professional, after gaining her professional qualification – the Diploma in Careers Guidance from the University of Central England in 1994. She is a member of the Institute of Careers Guidance and registered with the British Psychological Society for Occupational Testing (Ability and Aptitude).

Kate has worked with clients of all ages (from young people choosing GCSE subjects to high level executives) helping them to move forward and manage their careers. Recent projects, in addition to working with private clients, have included working with organisations to identify their business and recruitment needs, and designing and delivering day career focused “boot camps”!

Her passion is working with individuals to help them identify their goals, reach their full potential and achieve the career and lifestyle they choose.

Peak welcomes Dr Ted Waller, acupuncturist

Acupuncture NeedleEdward has joined the Peak Physio team he has been a GP for over five years and practising in acupuncture for two and a half years.

Jane is selected for the Medical Team at the London Olympic Games

We are delighted to announce that Jane Newman, Physiotherapist and Clinical Director of Peak Physio, was selected on the 8th November to be a Physio for the Medical Team at the London Olympic Games 2012.

Jane was one of over 250 thousand physios that applied to be a Physio at the Games and will be finding out more about the role shortly. More to follow!

Peak Physio sponsors the David Lloyd Triathlon

Triathlon
The David Lloyd Exeter Triathlon took place on 19 October.

Peak Physio was proud to be sponsoring the event, in aid of two charities:

  • Sparks. Funds research into serious conditions affecting the health of babies, children and mums-to-be.
  • The Billie Butterfly Fund. To help raise the money for Billie’s brain tumour treatment so that she has a chance to grow up like any other little girl.

Peak Physio offered free massage after the event to all competitors!
